SAIC is seeking an Intel Systems Engineer to provide SETA support to SAIC's Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.

The Intel Systems Engineer will exhibit flexibility in task execution, provide technical expertise on a variety of Systems Engineering topics (e.g., requirements, systems architecture development and integration, readiness, verification and validation, technical trades analysis).

The Intel Systems Engineer will be required to demonstrate familiarity with the breadth of the requirements process, from how high-level community-driven capabilities statements are created and how they generate and align to system and program level capabilities and flow to agile epics and features.

Job Responsibilities to include:

  • Offer value-added judgment, advise the government on program activities, and will produce recommendations consistent with the organization's objectives.

  • Support a fundamental program to transform delivery of capabilities across the IC in support of intelligence gathering and of the warfighter missions.

  • Operate proactively with ability to lead and execute project engagements without direct leadership oversight and/or participation

  • Serve as customer interface and advocate, affording cross-functional technical and relationship management to ensure mission success while maximizing service adoption

  • Proactively perform as an organized and dedicated change agent, core to ensuring quality assurance while assisting the culture shift toward agile proactive, rapidly evolving system architecture

  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints

  • Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications

  • Educate consumers on current and upcoming IT service deliveries, changes, and potential impacts to existing capabilities

  • Perform as key Technical Advisor for articulating service requirement gaps to support customer mission architecture

  • Provide specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors in a STEM related field and nine (9) years or more experience; Master's and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.

  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

  • Experience with Intelligence Community (IC) systems and architectures is required

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment to facilitate information sharing and promulgate understanding of technical issues to a variety of audiences

  • Ability to summarize highly technical concepts in readily consumable graphical and textual representation (i.e., MS PowerPoint)
