Position summary: Responsible for coordinating large-scale Public Works engineering programs and managing engineering and construction projects.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Assist Program Manager with administrating engineering and program management contracts
Coordinate and help manage project sub-consultants and in-house support disciplines
Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects
Assist in development of comprehensive Water & Wastewater Plans for Baltimore City and other local counties
Coordinate with project stakeholders to deliver program projects
Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction
Track monthly budgets
Develop extra work order requests and contract task proposals
Coordinate with internal team members to ensure project completions by established deadlines and PMP quality standards
Attend meetings with clients

Required SkillsRequired Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering
4+ years of engineering and/or engineering management experience
Professional Engineer License
Project Management Professional Certification
Proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite, P6, Microsoft Project, Power BI, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, AutoCAD
Experience working with cost/resource loaded Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules
Strong communication skills; written and verbal
Self-starter
Qualifications Preferred
Experience working with local clients at City, County and State levels
Knowledge of Baltimore City and Baltimore County DPW operations
Construction Management experience
Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
