Job Summary

Dominion Energy is seeking one individual to fulfill the Senior Business Performance Analyst position located in Richmond, VA.

Work independently with business unit management to prepare, analyze, and present financial case studies for a business process. Define and develop performance metrics; analyze and recommend data collection process improvements; and ensure data integrity as it relates to reporting and analytics. Identify and implement better work and business processes. Develop cost/allocation, cost/benefit programs and models to support the development of business strategies. Develop programs and implement automated methods and systems to track workflow and performance efficiencies. Perform varied analyses of an economic, business, and engineering nature. Provide assistance and leadership to co-workers.

Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences required for entry into this job include the following:

  • 5+ years of relevant directly related work experience (or 7+ years directly related experience with an Associate's degree; or 9+ years directly related experience with a High School diploma/GED)

Strongly Preferred: (Be sure to include in your resume if you meet any of the following preferences)

  • Ability to perform data analytics, everyday reporting, modeling, create dashboards, have visibility for spending, forecast and share budget impact perspective

  • Knowledge and experience in financial management

  • Ability to relay information through data manipulation

  • Cost control and reporting skills

  • Proficient in SAP, WMS, BEX

  • Proficiency in typical Business software products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with external vendors; adapting to external program usage

  • Demonstrated planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously;

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making;

  • Effective analytical skills;

  • Excellent computer skills;

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.
