Technical Professional - Software Engineering
KBR in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer with interest in code development for remote sensing applications.

KBR's Advanced ISR Special Programs team in Ann Arbor conducts sponsored Research and Development to improve our nation's capability to execute Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. We address difficult technical problems, as posed by increasingly complex operating environments, and develop solutions that enable our customers' success and safety.

Responsibilities:
Participate in software engineering teams on concurrent development projects, often with overlapping technical objectives for product design and performance.
Implement and test advanced signal and image processing algorithms in the context of open architecture software frameworks, developing compliant applications for use on state-of-the-art remote sensing systems and embedded within advanced sensors.
Employ DevOps practices and tools for efficient code development.
Required Qualifications:
Academic degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science, with accompanying years of relevant experience as indicated:
Bachelor's + 2 years
Earned Master's
Technical interest in the development of remote sensing technologies (systems, software)
Demonstrable successful performance in the area of software development
Training and exposure to modern methodologies and practices (Agile, DevOps)
Proficiency in formal code development in C++
Excellence in oral and written technical communication.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working with MATLAB engineering analysis code.
Proficiency in Python programming language
Active Top Secret Security Clearance
Active SCI Access
