Warewash Division Description:

The Warewash Division of the Food Equipment Group is seeking an IT Analyst (work in office) for its Troy, OH facility, located 20 minutes north of the Dayton metropolitan area.

The Warewash Division produces Hobart, Stero, and Somat branded commercial dishwashers and waste equipment for use in hotels, casinos, restaurants, health care, cruise ships, schools and universities and retail.

Summary:

As the IT Analyst you will provide end-user help desk support and technical support for the Warewash business systems. This includes maintenance of installed infrastructure hardware and software, as well as the upgrading, installation and configuration of these technologies and associated applications. This role will assist with the development, testing, implementation, and support of processes and requests to support the Warewash Business Division. This position supports multiple platforms including servers, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, and may require independent work, sharing information and assisting others with work assignments. Candidates for this position must have excellent problem-solving skills in order to diagnose, evaluate and resolve problem situations.

What you will do:

  • Setup and maintain laptops and desktops for end users, according to established standards

  • Maintain a secure environment through Active Directory and established security policies and procedures

  • Assist in maintaining Warewash servers and infrastructure as needed

  • Provide technical support for critical business application, such as ERP and Engineering systems

  • Develop SQL queries and processes to support business needs

  • Assist in system software upgrades as needed

  • Support new and existing Information Technology initiatives

What we are looking for:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, including servers and personal computers

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server environment

  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint

  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office 365 applications

  • Ability to work in a highly innovative, design-driven environment

  • An individual with logical, deductive reasoning skills

  • Ability to organize and execute projects within specified timelines

  • Ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels

  • Complex problem solver and who is detailed-oriented

  • Present a good attitude and team thinking

Education and Experience:

  • BS Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred

  • Handling multiple work assignments concurrently

  • Effective oral and written communications as well as effective presentation skills.
