Responsibilities

The American Heart Association has an exciting new opportunity for a Report Developer within our Center of Development Operations department. This position can be home based .

In this role, you will be responsible for for creating database reports and assisting report end users in the review and interpretation of data reports. Responsible for serving as the subject matter expert in the use of tools to extract and collect data for queries and writing reports. Responsible for overseeing continuous data quality controls including establishing policies and procedures for best practices.

Job Duties:

  • Develops, modifies, maintains, and supports custom reports from assigned database (examples: Microsoft Dynamics, SSRS, Greater Giving, Excel, etc.

  • Acquires data and manages integration as requested from multiple data sources and data systems.

  • Formats, reviews, and responds to requests from end users for analysis, consolidation, and interpretation of reports.

  • Establishes best practice methodology to ensure accuracy and quality of the data reported.

  • Serves as a subject matter expert to drive improvements on data gathering processes and data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area

  • Three (3) years of the following experience:

  • Experience developing, managing customer relationship management reports or related activities

  • Experience gathering and documenting business intelligence data

  • Tableau Reporting Writing, extracting data from various CRMs and event software, and building new and enhancing existing tableau reports

  • Proficient data analysis and reporting skills from CRM databases

  • Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
