Cracker Barrel is seeking seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the Home Office to provide retai financial planning and analysis support to Senior Management. This partner will develop retail financial models, participate in the planning and projection process, and provide analytical support for retail management regarding stores and Home Office.
Analyze sales opportunities, Gross Margin, sell-thru performance, Inventory Turn, and GMROI. Provide guidance on retail business performance and financial plans, regularly meet with Accounting and Merchandising Teams, understand Open-to-Buy metrics, and use data for leading performance analyses, advise on the financial impact that key metrics have on the Company financial statement.
Review, analyze, and project key performance indicators, stay well-informed of industry trends, and maintain competitive sales benchmarking
Perform business profitability, expense, and variance related analyses, perform standard Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly reporting with excellent attention to detail, prepare retail schedules for monthly and quarterly business review, and create retail schedules for earnings call preparation
Deliver analysis and recommendations on retail initiatives across all levels of Management, participate as an FP&A representative on multiple projects, analyze project returns, maintain budgets, create, and communicate test results, present to steering committee
Prepare seasonal budgets for all retail financial metrics, develop annual and long-range plan and financial forecasts, prepare financial planning model that integrates appropriately into Company financial plan, work with Department Head to plan/project monthly P&L expectations
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements
Support Retail Operations team, prepare quarterly store level retail sales goals
