Hardware

  • We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in SOC/VLSI Chip Design, ASIC Chip Design, or Technology process development.

  • You have 1+ year of Technical Program or Project Management experience, Systems Support/Customer Support experience.

  • We're looking for experience working in a dynamic engineering environment, strong at multi-tasking, and real-time crisis management!

  • Strong desire to own/drive project development across multiple discipline teams.

  • Experience working with ASIC & VLSI design flows, and leading silicon projects from concept to production.

  • Great leadership and communication skills!

Description

The System Silicon Program Manager is responsible for driving the system silicon plans and coordinating the silicon development process with system and cross functional teams at Apple. In this role, you will work with system teams to understand their silicon needs, collect requirements, work with cross functional teams to understand their silicon roadmaps and align on system silicon plans. Communicate system silicon needs to the silicon implementation team and work with them closely on development plans and implementation to meet system requirements. Review design documentation and participate in design reviews. Work with system and cross functional teams on silicon bring up plans, coordinate the validation efforts and drive resolution of silicon issues. We're looking for you to manage all aspects of silicon development and work directly with vendors on semi-custom silicon development. We expect you will manage risks and drive alignment of silicon development plans with system build timelines from first prototype build to release for mass production ramp.

Education & Experience

MS or BS Degree in technical discipline
