Title:
Chief of Operations
Serves as the Program Chief of Operations advisor to both the contractor and customer/client staff. Assist the Squadron S3 Section in the planning, coordination, synchronization, and execution of current operations in support of all training requirements for 166th Aviation Brigade FMS Training Program.
Coordinates and synchronizes directly with Squadron S-3 Air and Ground.
Responsible for all matters concerning training, operations, plans, and force development.
Assist in determining training needs/requirements.
Integrates and synchronizes the operation for the organization.
Maintains Synchro Matrix after initial briefing.
Tracks all training during execution with assistance from TOC Operations Coordinator
Communicates changes to all staff sections.
Develop Operations Orders and products associated with:
OPORD, FRAGO's, combat aviation training activities.
Task Subordinate Units (Sections, other Prime Contractors)
Updates and establishes SOPs/TACSOP
Develop, update, and present doctrinally correct instruction on operations issues during tactical training, sustainment training, or other training as required.
Coordinates with other Staff Sections.
Manages SCC, Land and Ranges, Operations Specialist, Plans, Flight Section, and Ground Operations Coordinator.
Attends and presents at Command and Staff as required.
Provide Operational Presentations to VIPs.
Attends and or facilitates Gunnery Brief, Synchronization Brief, and BUB.
Provides Commander and XO analysis on current operation challenges and presents COAs to resolve the issues.
Produces end of class AAR as a contract deliverable to the PM.
Supports other requirements as required by the PM Team such as program management reviews, quarterly AS9100 audits, etc...
Qualifications:
Prefer former Battalion Commander (not a requirement)
Former Brigade S3 and Brigade XO experience
Resident CGSC (ILE) graduate
Aviation Branch (preferred) or Infantry Branch
10 years' experience in Aviation/Infantry Operations and Logistics
Bachelor's degree
Must have a Texas Drivers license
Must have a Secret Clearance
Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Comfortable Briefing Field Grade and General Officers

Aviation Maintenance Managers Course
CTC Observer Controller
Ranger School
Project Management Professional Certified
