Monday-Friday starting at 8:00 am. Day shift typically working 8 hour days. On top of competitive pay we offer family benefits, 401k, and vacation.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Retaining and growing commercial waste and recycling removal and disposal services.
Working with Outside Sales Representatives to help keep existing customers.
Interacting with customers via phone and email.
Must be good at problem-solving and handling disgruntled customers
Work in conjunction with other departments to resolve customer disputes or service issues.
Become proficient in data entry using proprietary operational computer programs.
Talk with customers by phone to receive requests for deliveries, cancellations, or change in service using scripts to ensure proper customer service.
Determine charges for service requested, collect payments.
Delivers services to customers in a manner that promotes goodwill. Interacts with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine service requirements and resolve complaints.
Work in a fast paced, cooperative, high call volume environment. Solicit sale of new or additional services.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
2 years of Customer Service experience.
Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Email preferred. Typing and 10-key skills are required.
Excellent organization and communication skills.
Prior complaint resolution experience.
Ability to analyze and solve problems. Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
