Responsibilities

The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Video Producer, Creative based out of our National Center office.

This position requires a hybrid schedule (working in-office and at home), as well as travel to events requiring full vaccination.

This individual will be responsible for managing production of creative content including video assets, audio assets and live production properties. Responsible for executing strategic concepts and developing the framework realize those concepts through launch and ongoing production. Responsible for modifying content and platform to meet consumer needs. Also responsible for managing bandwidth, production schedules, talent/speaker preparation, and oversight of freelancers & contractors brought in to support the work with line of sight to budget implications.

  • Lead production for live and pre-recorded original programming broadcast content properties including providing direction to supporting staff.

  • Collaborate with internal clients to provide project planning and development with interviews, storyline and content for video, audio, podcast, (s) and live production. Oversee producing and editing final product.

  • Deliver on production needs for cross-functional teams at a national and field level. Partner with the news, content, and marketing teams to concept new video or podcast content and provide direction to contractors and freelancers who support the work.

  • Produce and facilitate audio and video shoots. Plan and prepare storyboarding and facilitate on-location production, logistics and crew management.

  • Develop and manage project and production schedule.

  • Related administrative components including invoices, expenses, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Eight (8) - Twelve (12) years of the following experience:

  • Experience as a lead producer for taped and live video and audio assets

  • Experience in complex post-production editing on podcasts and audio assets

  • Ability to interact and direct senior leaders with a high-degree of professionalism

  • Ability to interact with and provide direction to influencers, celebrities and thought leaders

  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital video and audio creation and integration with digital properties

  • Extensive skills in live production planning, management, and execution

Preferred Skills:

  • Digital content and marketing experience
