Job Description: This person will contribute to the company's success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products. Candidates must be capable of following an engineered assembly process and maintaining consistent quality and productivity levels.
Essential Functions: - Performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products in a repetitive nature - Follows an engineered assembly process, but may require the ability to adjust, fit, or align parts - Uses hand tools such as long nose pliers, screw drivers, soldering irons, and wrenches - Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels - Uses Microsoft Office programs - Performs hand soldering on electronic assemblies - Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production environment - Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks - Strong Customer Focus - Ability to work overtime as needed - Able to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
Basic Qualifications: - Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: - Previous assembly skills and strong mechanical background - L3Harris product knowledge - Self-Starter, Willingness to train and mentor entry level assemblers - Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements through the E3 process - Lean manufacturing skills - Oracle system knowledge - IPC 7721 is preferred
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $41,500 - $76,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
