Title:
Workface Planning Lead
Supervises and directs the daily efforts of the workface planning team and establishes system interfaces
Coordinate with Construction Management Team and Craft Superintendents on a regular basis to ensure WFPs activities are correctly prioritized and aligned with the project master schedule.
Process the project information as it arrives from the sources: Engineering, Project Controls & Material Management, making the current data available to all WFPs.
Provide daily and weekly status reports for the project team.
Review the log of Work Packages to track the progress of plan development and backlog of executable work.
Provide functional management and oversight to the Workface Planners
Provide support to the Workface Planners.
Review Installation Work Packages before they are issued for execution
Organize and facilitate coordination meetings
Initiate planning, scaffolding & equipment coordination meetings as required
Develop a distribution matrix for all relevant communications
Field experience required
Has strong leadership abilities
Requires organizational skills
