This Production Analyst will be on a dynamic team, managing Ship Certifications and Trial Coordination data at our Pascagoula, MS location. Serco supports the US Navy for their contract which supports their defense work on destroyers. Our team works with the Navy to oversee the construction, test, and delivery of Navy Destroyers to include managing the Ship Certifications and Trial Coordination process with the shipbuilder. These efforts help ensure the ships meet all the requirement to ensure the safety of the sailors and to allow them to perform their missions successfully.
You will be part of a twelve-member production team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams focusing on ship certifications and preparing the ship for conducting trials at sea.
In this role, you will:
Assist in coordinating and managing certification teams and visits, collecting and distributing certification issues and discrepancies. Prepare certification binders that includes certifications and reports for SSGC and ship's force at delivery, assist in reporting status of certification efforts during production and delivery process to include SPRs, MRPs, and Delivery.
Assist with trials coordination and execution by trials administration tasks to include managing trial riders for each trial, maintaining trial rider forms, next of kin information, space access list for secure spaces, berthing assignments, badges.
Assist with the planning and execution of trials by coordinating trials central activities with the program office and HII in the lead up to trials and during each trial as well.
Capturie and report status of events.
Organize and arrange for trials support items to include computers, office supplies, status boards, etc, to be ready and available for trials
Maintain current reference materials and working files for Project Office with respect to certification requirements and Trials execution.
Manage Excel spreadsheet tracking of certification status and readiness for trials for Project Office.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor's Degree in relevent discipline with 0-2 years of experience. Experience supporting similar work will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance post employment.
Applicant must possess excellent computer skills. Microsoft Office a must.
Applicant should possess working knowledge of Access, querying and reporting.
Working knowledge of shipbuilding practices and ship test/certification process a plus.
Experience in consulting directly with military customers is preferred.
