PT & FT Med Tech, Lakewood, NY Essential Functions 1. Assists in maintaining the physical, social, and psychological environment that is conducive interest and welfare of the residents. 2. Exercises independent judgment and discretion in the performance of personnel tasks understanding that the responsibilities are not routine or limited to resident care matters. 3. As per state regulations and completion of required training/certification, administers or response to existing treatment plan, is aware of prominent medication interactions and side observes residents for occurrence of such and notifies supervisor. Adheres to community policies and procedures. 4. Assists residents with medication, as defined in medication procedure. Supervises residents up with Health and Wellness Director and/or Executive Director with questions and concerns medication administration. 5. Helps ensure necessary medications are available at all times for residents, including from the pharmacy and assisting with obtaining orders (prescriptions) for refills. Payrate $16.50-$17.50/hour or more depending on experience. Subject to medical exam, reference check and criminal background check.
