The Machine Builder builds, wires, and provides technical support for standard and automation machine systems both in house and at customer sites.
. Build, wire, test, and troubleshoot standard and custom industrial machines per drawings, Schematics, and direction. The emphasis for this role will be more electrical. Mechanical abilities desired.
. Panel layout and wire routing on custom and standard machinery
. Meet schedule and task milestones.
. Tear down and refurbish existing systems. Clean, replace parts, and adjust machine to specifications.
. Be able to read schematics and wire machines according to prints.
. Travel occasionally to customer sites as required to install, train, and/or repair machines.
. Perform electrical wiring or troubleshooting to fix problems at customer sites. Work in a safe and efficient manner.
. Maintains accurate documentation of all work performed.
. Provide good customer service.
. All other duties as assigned
. Supports design improvements with testing and detailed feedback to engineering.
. Pack, crate, and ship machines.
. Ability to work with ambiguity and make decisions.
. Maintains focus on continuous improvement by applying 80/20, PLS, and USa principles/techniques and makes process improvement recommendations to management.
