KBR supports NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Projects in Greenbelt, MD. Gain on the job experience as a student intern working with the Roman Space Telescope Integrated Modeling (IM) Team. Candidate will work under the direction of the IM group lead to develop and maintain a website for the IM team that provides easy access to analysis data products.
Intern Job Responsibilities:
Work with IM leadership and analysts to review and refine website requirements and develop the website architecture, including interface definitions to back-end NASA servers where IM data products reside, if necessary
Coordinate with project IT personnel to establish procedure for website hosting and any corresponding technical constraints
Understand the different IM analysis data products and the best way to implement and visualize via a website interface
Design and develop the website and manage a beta version review/feedback cycle with select members of the IM team
Refine and maintain website as necessary
Required Education & Skills:
Current High School Student
Good communication and coordination skills
NASTRAN
FEMAP (preferred) or other FEM pre-post processing tool
Working knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel.
