Join the CSO Business Capabilities team as Business Program Manager focusing on learning engagement with our worldwide teams in Marketing, Enablement, and Gaming and Modern Life categories, and drive learning solutions that support the eCommerce direct to consumers motions.

The CSO Business Capabilities team enables CSO to drive success and empower our people through development of functional business capabilities to enable our organization's purpose. In this role, you will be working in a global sales organization with a growing ecosystem of direct, retail, channel, and solutions partners and you will have the opportunity to help shape business programs and strategies that have global impact. This is a high impact role where you'll be able to partner with senior leaders across the business to drive capability development, own our eCommerce learning solutions and create a learning culture across the CSO organization. Also, you will be expected to establish long-lasting relationships by offering learning expertise to your business partners to foster a learning culture that drives business success.

Responsibilities

Working in a global sales and marketing organization at the intersection of consumers, hardware partners, and channel partners, you'll have the opportunity to help shape business programs and strategies that have global impact.

  • Own and drive the learning engagement with our worldwide teams for Marketing, Enablement,,and Gaming and Modern Life categories

  • Develop a solid understanding of the eCommerce business priorities and strategies to show thought leadership and become a trusted advisor to the teams in terms of learning and capability building

  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders to drive learning solution roadmap for eCommerce capability

  • Champion learning program delivery for in-person and virtual audiences in a hybrid world

  • Develop and maintain a strategic relationship with your business partners to drive a learning culture

  • Understand adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies to help influence the design and delivery of content for your stakeholders

  • Drive effective communications cadence with the stakeholders around learning initiatives, from design to deliver to end-to-end feedback loops

  • Support local learning application, reinforcement, and culture of learning

  • Work closely with stakeholders within CSO, and across Marketing and Consumer Business (MCB) and wider Microsoftto build and drive short and long-term strategies that meet short and long-term business goals

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Education or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement

  • OR equivalent experience

  • 3+ years' experience in Learning and/or Talent development (needs analysis, instructional design models, content development, learning technologies, and training facilitation)

  • Experience in eCommerce business

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of broad business experience in international corporate sales, marketing, or services environment

  • Experience working with learning management systems is beneficial, knowledge expected

  • People management experience is advantageous but not a requirement

  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, planning and organizational abilities

  • Must be able to work independently, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, as well as negotiate and collaborate effectively

  • Ambitious, self-starter, thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, effectively manages priorities

  • Confident with an ability to work and build strong relationships with senior managers to establish trusted advisor status, willing to take on big challenges, advocate a position, build a business case, and influence others (required)

  • Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills that include exceptional cross-group collaboration skills to successfully and independently work across many teams and functions

  • Must be a person of integrity, capable of excellent judgement and decision-making skills, showing the utmost discretion in the management of confidential corporate information

  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft's strategy, product, and service offerings, as well as company culture
