Join Lockheed Martin's dynamic team working on the cutting edge of aerospace technology. We provide training systems for the world's most advanced aircraft, including the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
As a member of our Systems Engineering team, you will:
- Be the Systems Engineer Staff Mission Planning Environment (MPE) Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Instructional Product Support Team (IPST).
- Provide F-35 ground mission planning, mission debrief, security and sensor reprogramming capabilities.
- Be an integral part of a team developing and sustaining MPE training used by F-35 pilots, system administrators, and mission planners.
- Use your MPE knowledge and skillset to develop and design courseware training products that teach these skills.
- Use your IT knowledge of Linux and Windows administration to develop and design courseware training products that teach these
Note: This position will be located at the Eglin ATC, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The position requires periodic travel.
This position requires a candidate who is a U.S. Citizen and holds a Secret security clearance to start. The role is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
- Tactical aircraft systems and/or mission planning applications (e.g. Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) or equivalent mission planning system) experience
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- 7 or more years of experience in mission planning and instruction
Desired Skills:
- Experience with the F-35 Mission Planning Environment and/or Mission Systems.
- Knowledgeable of COTs and GOTs software related to mission planning and debrief (e.g. PFPS, WPS, CWDS, JWS, EWCC, SPT, PCDS, etc.).
- Linux and/or Windows IT systems including administration, installation, training, and technical customer service experience.
- Experience with Crypto Key Management systems.
- Experience with tactical aircraft and ground based systems, specifically sensors, datalinks, and weapons system planning.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
