At CACI, we are thrilled to open our new Shared Services Center (SSC) in Oklahoma City, OK! Our SSC will be home to hundreds of CACI team members working in critical corporate functions, such as Finance and Accounting, Information Systems, Contracts, Procurement, Security and Human Resources.
As the Purchasing Manager within CACI's new shared service center you will oversee the purchasing function in conjunction with all other organizational functions of the department. Typically works on and places purchase orders valued up to $1,000,000. May be assigned higher value tasks with oversight from senior management level staff.
More About the Role:
Acts as liaison with program management, material control, quality assurance, and engineering.
Assures that all information/data and priorities/critical items from the purchasing department interfacing groups are received, processed, and integrated into the purchasing function.
Coordinates with the Procurement Director to assure that purchasing is optimally integrated with the organization to achieve timely product deliveries.
Researches and develops new sources of supply and keeps informed of new products, manufacturing processes, and price trends.
Utilizes a system to evaluate vendor quotations that utilizes appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service.
Designs, implements, manages, and monitors procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements.
Recruits and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a better price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.
Negotiates or supervises the negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers and subcontractors.
Provides creative leadership from knowledge of industry best practices and most current developments in purchasing.
Participates in planning and policy development issues.
Provides regular reporting to senior management on purchasing issues.
May oversee creation of procedures and communication material that document purchasing practices.
Participates in establishing short- and long-term purchasing objectives consistent with organizational strategy (CPOK).
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and 5+ years related work experience.
7+ years of related (government contract administration).
Experience with FAR, DFAR, CHESS, Software License Agreements and GSA schedules.
Experience managing projects / processes.
Experience influencing others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Prior experience working in a shared service environment highly preferred.
Superior customer service mentality with focus on compliance.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong motivator of people.
Ability to ensure policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.

$60,400 - $126,900
