KBR is seeking a Business Development Analyst for the Science & Space (S&S) Division. The Business Development Analyst will support the development and operation of processes and systems to proactively identify, capture, record, and disseminate pipeline and information on functionally targeted business opportunities across a wide range of Federal Agencies and Bureaus.

Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize automated and ad hoc systems and reports to identify future business opportunities using many internal and external information sources and tools.
Develop systems to categorize, screen, record, disseminate and track opportunities working with leaders and staff in both the Science & Space Business Development division and Operational leaders and staff.
Regularly communicate with Business Development and Capture Managers to update search tools and systems to capture new and growing capabilities and client accounts.
Opportunistically evaluate Science & Space projects, processes, and systems with a view for improving them.
Administer Salesforce for the S&S BD Team (after any necessary training)
Research and present results of research to the business development team
Create, administer, and develop databases that impact the organization's ability to retain and disseminate information.
In this role, you are expected to handle multiple simultaneous tasks, and proactively identify gaps and areas for improvement for the BD operations overall.
Participate in business planning activities, scheduling and facilitating BD presentations, to include pipeline reviews, weekly and monthly BD reporting.
Monitor the Operating Group's pipeline, submittals, and awards. Ensure opportunity data accuracy including ensuring exceptions are resolved quickly and coordinating with the S&S users for their respective operations.
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing or Business
- 0-2 years of experience
- Self Motivated, organized, and detail oriented
- Proactive communicator curious and driven to learn about S&S capabilities and business development strategies, and to contribute ideas for how to identify and evaluate viable opportunities that match those capabilities and strategies
- Ability to take initiative and proactively develop solutions to address business needs for
comprehensive and properly scaled identification of business development opportunities
- Ability to follow direction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Demonstrated skills using automated tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) to
present ideas, information, and reports.
- Comfort interacting with and interest in learning to use conversational AI and no code
development platforms
- Must be collaborative and work well with the team
- Ability to gain internal support, operate independently with limited supervision, and establish a solid working relationship with senior management, BD staff, and peers in the Group and across KBR.
- Ability to develop and maintain/administer SharePoint collaboration sites
- Knowledge of the federal contracting business development lifecycle and sources of federal contracting opportunities highly desirable.
- Experience with Salesforce highly desirable
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
