As a CACI-Wexford SOAS (Special Operations and Asymmetric Solutions) Test/Evaluation Engineer in the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) you will help empower the Department of Defense's navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission ensuring positioning, navigation and timing superiority. You will serve as a member of a team providing combatant commanders and joint force commanders with subject matter expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR by providing knowledge of friendly and enemy NAVWAR order of battle and PNT-related successes and threats. You will be responsible for determining the optimal approach to testing complex products or solutions in order to assure compliance with applicable specifications. This includes identifying and recommending product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes.
More About this Role:
You will combine customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.
You will develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems.
You will coordinate integrated testing activities.
You will review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of test program.
You will perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare comprehensive system level evaluations.
You will be responsible for continuous enhancement and engineering support to the Joint Navigation Warfare Center.
You will develop creates and execute software test plans; be responsible for hardware configuration management; perform requirements analysis; perform system designs; maintain system configuration and perform equipment and software installations.
You will develop implementation plans, software, and documentation. In addition, you will write, rewrite and/or edit other technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications, instructions, and management documentation to a wide range of audiences.
You will understand how to generate NAVWAR RF testing environments in accordance with laws, policy, and predefined test parameters.
You will work as a member of a small specialized technical team, perform full life-cycle system development support in a rapid development/rapid fielding environment.
You will acquire subject knowledge by interviewing product developers, observing performance of production methods, referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals.
You will provide configuration management support of technical documentation.
You will work closely with Government Systems personnel and managers on various projects.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Current TS/SCI Security Clearance.
A doctorate in an engineering discipline, computer science, information technology, systems engineering, math statistics, or a related field.
Twelve years of relevant experience.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Quality Engineer Certification (CQE) or equivalent.
Ability to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.

$90,700 - $199,600
