What You Will Be Doing
As a Completion Associate Manager on the 2nd shift, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the final stages of aircraft completion, ensuring all sub-assemblies, avionics, mechanics, and sustainment operations are meticulously executed to meet customer, engineering, and FAA specifications. This position involves leading a team of supervisors and skilled technicians, driving them to achieve top-tier quality standards while adhering to project timelines and regulatory requirements. Your leadership will be essential in coordinating the recruitment, training, and performance management of your team, fostering a collaborative, safety-first work environment that emphasizes continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with customer, engineering, and FAA specifications, delivering high-quality aircraft ready for flight.
- Lead the selection and training of your team, ensuring a motivated and high-performing workforce.
- Provide ongoing performance assessments, assign work, and manage salary reviews, recognition programs, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Drive collaboration and excellence in a safety-first environment while meeting production deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:
At least 8 years' experience leading/supervising a large team with responsibility and oversight over budgets and schedules.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited College or 8 years Combined Aviation Production, Maintenance, Modification, Repair and Overhaul (MMRO) Experience without a degree.
Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to create and utilize metrics related to performance.
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
SAP experience is a plus.
Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments.
Experience leading a team to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues.
Ability to understand budget for the department and budget performance.
Demonstrated ability to create, monitor and report on all executive operations metrics.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
