If you want to work on cutting edge Air Force programs, Serco-WBB has a great opportunity for you! As a Senior Electronic Warfare Engineer, you will be supporting the Advanced Aircraft Division (AFLCMC/WAC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
The Advanced Aircraft Division's mission is to continuously deliver advanced and innovative capabilities through parallel development, optionality, and competition to deter and defeat threats. You will be part of the Air Force's benchmark acquisition team, providing bold and innovative solutions in electronic warfare and test support by working with labs, test organizations, prime contractors, and subcontractors.
In this role, you will:
Utilize your expertise in research, design, development, integration, and testing of all varieties of electronic warfare equipment and countermeasures.
Apply knowledge of threat systems to include RF signal processing designs and techniques, and aircraft countermeasures.
Apply test engineering and test operations expertise for the review of test plans and procedures, integration and test activities, and analysis of test results for all phases of subsystem component and system-level integration and testing.
Support test planning working groups, technical interchanges, lab and flight test events, and day-to-day interactions between test, intelligence, and technology organizations.
Apply systems engineering approach in establishing entrance and exit criteria for significant technical reviews.
Review electronic warfare intelligence data systems and databases and how they are used in programming/reprogramming electronic warfare systems.
Perform technical risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
Support airworthiness directives and assist in conducting airworthiness assessment utilizing MIL-HDBK-516.
Support development and review of the full range of program documentation.
Support development of contract and document updates.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Current TOP SECRET security clearance with Background Investigation within the last six years or on Continuous Evaluation. Eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
Master's Degree with 10 years of relevant DoD work experience or a Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering related field with 12 years of relevant DoD work experience
In-depth knowledge of DoD acquisition engineering and test support
Additional desired experience and skills:
Master's Degree in an engineering related field
General understanding of avionics and other aircraft subsystems and their integration on a host platform.
Three years of Special Access Program or SCI experience within the last five years.
