Description

Support Specialist - Reliability Service Center

This position is located at the General Services Headquarters at 62 Lake Mirror Road Building 9 - Repair Shop, Forest Park, GA 30297.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing support for the Reliability Service Centers which includes the Repair Shop, Central Tool Shop, and Juliette Metrology Lab. Duties include, but not limited to: timekeeping, expense reporting, and handling of all administrative and facility needs. Additionally, other duties will include answering phones and direct customer questions to appropriate personnel, shop logistics, and ordering and maintaining office supplies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • College coursework and or degree a plus

  • Certification as an administrative professional a plus

Experience Requirements:

  • Significant amount of recent administrative or support experience supporting multiple staff members (in a corporate environment) required

  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required

  • Previous experience processing expense and expense reports strongly preferred

  • Prior data entry experience and experience creating/managing reports preferred

  • Previous experience using an online time recording system/software preferred

  • Ability to provide superior customer service to internal & external customers

  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in handling confidential matters

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (telephone, verbal, and written)

  • Ability to work well with others - be engaged as part of the team

  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal/external customers and co-workers

  • Must be self-motivated and quick to grasp general concepts and guidelines

  • Possess excellent time management, planning, organization, decision making, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong focus and accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and other company applications (for time reporting, payables, expense reports, etc.)

  • Ability to lift 50lbs (e.g. case of paper, full file folder box, etc.)

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer phones and direct customer questions to appropriate personnel

  • Provide support to customers requesting the services of the Repair Shop

  • Arrange logistics for meetings - scheduling, procure locations, invite attendees, room set-up, and food as needed

  • Order office supplies as needed

  • Complete I-9 form for new employees

  • Process credit card purchases through I-expense associated with the purchase of material or travel

  • Utilize STARS time reporting system to perform timekeeping duties and reporting

  • Maintain following:

  • Drivers Management Online (DMO) system (list of CDL or CMV drivers)

  • Schedule DOT physicals

  • Generate reports

  • Parking pass process

  • Computers, printers and copiers

  • Document control which includes hardcopy and scanned documents

  • Recycle centers

  • Perform the following:

  • Generate Call-out list / Overtime / On-call Document

  • Manage secured folder access

  • Database updates

  • Maintain procedures and small revisions

  • Coordinate special projects

Other Requirements

  • Must also be able to pass a written pre-employment clerical test (SASS) and a Customer Value Assessment in order to be considered - candidates selected for further consideration who are not already test qualified will be contacted to be scheduled for a test session as appropriate
