This is a job that allows staff to learn a variety of departments and develop various nursing skills. We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team and provide the highest quality of care to our patients within our growing community. We are eeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant to serve as a clinical assistant in our family practice at St Mary's Park Rapids Clinic. This LPN or CMA works 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. No holiday or on call rotations are required, but you may have to work occasional weekends. This position helps support our family medicine and internal medicine departments, and also outreach providers who come from outside facilities. This may include cardiology, nephrology, TCON visits, OB/GYN, oncology, and ENT. Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory and/or home care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
LPN: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Minnesota.
CMA: Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. (Must pass certification within two attempts)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months.

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
