Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR's enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract's original prime contractor. Job Summary
The Technical Inspector Supervisor is responsible for the efficient management of all personnel and resources to accomplish all mission requirements pertaining to the Rotational Support Operations Division (RSOD) in the direct support of RSOI (Draw) and Regeneration (Turn-In). The TI Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, effective implementation of the quality control program, and mission compliance with all contract requirements. Maintains close coordination with the Government to ensure responsive support. Maintains awareness of all operations, projected workload, inspection results, training, Government requests, guidance, and all issues relative to safety, environmental, and personnel.
Roles and Responsibilities
The TI Supervisor directly reports to RSOD Equipment Maintenance Manager and has the approval authority to accomplish all mission requirements as specified in all applicable regulations and contractual requirements. This authority includes but is not limited to performance of all functions required by the contract and related regulatory requirements: i.e., approves timecards, administers discipline in accordance with company policy and applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and -stop work authority- if a safety or potential safety situation occurs.
Directly supervises the Technical Inspectors who are responsible for inspecting a large variety of light and heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and commercial automotive vehicles, and equipment, to include, complex, interrelated mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, and electrical systems, equipment, and their components while in operation or in a standby condition using specially designed testing methods and test equipment such as computerized test sets, precision gauges, electronic sensors, injector test stands, engine scopes, etc., to assure that tolerance and safety factors have been met.
Advises employees of proper operation and maintenance of equipment, trains new Technical Inspectors, and further develops skills of current Technical Inspectors. Monitors operation and production at job site and ensures that proper maintenance and safety procedures are followed.
Performs other duties as assigned/required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Must be able to perform under stressful conditions and meet short suspense dates
Must be free of medical restrictions/limitations that prevent the performance of required duties
Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently
Individual may be required to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Experience in the use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and GCSS-Army
Requires knowledge in equipment repair or equivalent experience, through knowledge of field services, equipment operation, and maintenance
Minimum of 5 years' experience in field maintenance
Must possess State driver's license
Must have or be able to obtain & maintain a NAC-I
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Candidates with prior Military and or LOGCAP experience in working with military equipment and environment.
Candidates with knowledge of US military regulations and OEM requirements, including OSHA, ANSI regulations standards
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Basic Compensation: $86,800 - $130,200
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
