Title:
Foreign Liaison Officer Lead Assistant
The incumbent will serve as the Lead Assistant to the Foreign Liaison Officer (FLO) for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Foreign Liaison Office. They are responsible for the operation, coordination, priority of work effort and efficiency of the daily operations of the KSA THAAD FLO office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Handles telephonic inquiries, typing, filing, communication and correspondence (i.e., monthly reports, memorandums, faxes, briefings, and spreadsheets)
Setup and maintain extensive filing system to track all incoming and outgoing information
Institute and upgrade procedures to increase office efficiency
Responsible for scheduling all meetings and conferences
Responsible for communications, logistics, event tracking, documenting, capture history, scheduling and development of preparatory briefings
Conducts weekly interaction directly with the KSA Embassy on visas, passports and foreign visitor requests
Interprets and implements foreign disclosure and international regulations for the KSA FLO
Produces, provides quality control and distributes reports, which may include budget, event master calendar, scheduling, conferences and ensures all meeting requirements and notifications are current and coordinated with external stakeholders
Responsible for KSA FLO strategic office planning and implementation to meet both near and far-term objectives
Provides analysis on FMS case funds to determine impact to future FLO office support plans and makes recommendations or changes where needed
Coordinates and provides estimates for the office's travel arrangements
Update Action Items for Preliminary Study, Program Management Reviews, and Working Sessions
Responsible for all internal program purchase requisitions for equipment and supplies
Ensures office support accounts (E.g., Phone, Internet, janitorial, Pest Service) are kept in good standing and monthly bills paid
English to Arabic translation. Must be able to speak, read, and write both English and Arabic fluently
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience providing executive level assistance
Demonstrated willingness to work in a team environment and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to fluently speak and write English and Arabic
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Possess (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance

Bachelor's Degree
Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales programs
Strong social skills
