This is a role well suited to an ambitiousprofessional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Lead Clinical Development Specialist. , you will be responsible for :

. Represent the global end-user

. Embody clinician workflow from around the world

. Understand the global user needs and aspirations

. Identify solutions that benefit patients

. Communicate needs, requirements, and observations that result in actual products

. Train, teach, and mentor the ultrasound organization to increase understanding of clinician needs

. Responsible for defining and/or providing input to clinical and product requirements, including user-level acceptance criteria for image performance, user workflow, and workstation application modules

. Partners with Ultrasound Engineering, Industrial Design, and Human Factors Engineering to develop and optimize transducer imaging, ergonomics and clinical exam definition to meet the clinician's intended use

. Responsible for understanding competitive product performance through detailed benchmarking

. Responsible for managing select external clinical evaluations and sites

. Experience with Internal Review Board (IRB) guidelines is desired

. Provide support for ensuring the user manual accurately reflects system operation

. Provide clinical, technical, and/or educational support as needed

. Support outbound marketing with product positioning and training as needed

Required skills to have for thesuccess of this role

Knowledge/Experience

. Must have at least (7) seven years of experience in diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound

. Pediatric echocardiography experience is desired

. Experience working at least (5) years in a medical device development environment preferred

. Commercial ultrasound experience (e.g. clinical applications and/or product management) desired

. Must have strong clinical skills and a discriminating eye for imaging performance

. Must have inherent critical thinking ability

. Ability to understand both the clinical and business needs

. Ability to translate customer needs into clear, actionable product requirements

. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, cross-discipline team environment

. Possess excellent organizational and time management skills

. Self-motivated self-starter that collaborates with peers

. Embody the discipline of continuous improvement

Education

. BS/BA in related discipline required

. Active ARDMS certification status or equivalent credential required (RDCSR (AE))

. Additional ARDMS certification or equivalent credential highly desired (RDCSR (PE), RVTR)
