Engineering Technician VI, Reliability and Maintainability
KBR is seeking a highly motivated self-starter, adaptable to a fast-paced, exciting environment as a Reliability and Maintainability Engineering Technician VI at NAS Patuxent River, MD, in support of PMA-234.
In this role, you will...
Support the Government's leadership in executing complex tasks, such as monitoring all maintenance actions on the ALQ 249 NGJ pods to ensure all Reliability & Maintainability requirements are met.
Apply engineering techniques, principles, and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, stores, armament/ordnance, or related data processing systems for military weapon systems or associated support equipment or components.
Review, analyze, develop, prepare, or apply engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures.
Organize, analyze, and prepare reports or presentations of technical data and information.
Plan and perform tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components.
Compile, process, reduce, or analyze test data results.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
Security Clearance: Secret OR able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
Experience (No allowable substitution):
At least 10 years of experience in general or practical experience in aircraft, weapons systems, or aircraft support equipment
Experience with aircraft and flight data collection and analysis
Experience with Reliability & Maintainability maintenance actions and management systems
Experience preparing reports or presentations of technical data and information to be used in evaluations of aircraft performance
Education:
High School diploma or GED AND
Completion of a technical school, trade school, or advanced armed services technical school curriculum or course of training in electricity, electronics, avionics, mechanics, armaments, ordnance, or engineering technology; or completion of at least 30 semester hours of course studies at an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical curriculum.
