Sr. Specialist, HSE
KBR is seeking a Sr HSE Specialist to join the Corporate HSE Team in Houston! This role will will work closely with the HSE Leadership Team and will assist with implementing health safety and environmental polices, procedures and guidelines with an emphasis on KBR's Global Mental Health & Wellbeing effort.
Responsiblities
Implements health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines for the employee and department safety with emphasis on oversight of KBR's Global Mental Health & Wellbeing effort .
Creates incident reports and performs inspections to ensure conformity in all areas of HSE in addition to performing data analysis of HSERS data .
Interacts with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to research and interpret standards, codes and regulations.
Keeps informed of regulatory requirements and auditing standards.
Assists in development and implementation of systems and standards to facilitate the capturing and analysis of HSE statistics.
Under general supervision, solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of subject matter .
Uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes. May provide guidance to less experienced team members.
Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2 + years of experience.
