The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Application Analyst in our National Center office located in Dallas, Texas (flexible work arrangements are available) . This position can be remote but must live near a major airport.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support for AHA digital marketing applications (primarily Salesforce Marketing Cloud). Responsible for building and sending emails, setting up email campaigns and journey canvases, email/message performance data analysis, basic data management; and problem investigation and resolution. Also, responsible for user setup and removal, training end-users, and an eye for process improvement with the various business units using the application

Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties:
Communicates with and provides support for internal and external customers to facilitate, plan and coordinate new projects, maintain existing or to receive/deliver training or other information. Assign and supervise work for contractor resources on SFMC team.
Builds emails using HTML and AmpScript, build journey canvas in Journey Builder, build basic segments in support of email campaigns in our legacy and new instances of SFMC
Lead all aspects of the process for provisioning new and remove inactive users in both instances of SFMC; training new users; updating existing users on any new processes introduced on the team.
Conducts quality assurance and testing during upgrade releases and ensures AHA customization remains intact. Identifies and resolves issues with new code or releases
Analyzes usage patterns and support call data to find opportunities to improve application usability, processes, and results.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related certification
3-5 years of relevant job experience
Comprehensive experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Comprehensive experience using HTML, AmpScript
Comprehensive experience with Journey Builder
Basic experience with relational databases and building segments
Preferred Qualifications:
Three years of experience with assigned application
Three years of Mobile Responsive Design experience
Three years of Web Analytics experience
