Problem Management Engineer II - Remote - San Diego, CA
Join Serco in support of our Defense Service sector and Systems Integration and Installation Business Unit as an Problem Management Engineer providing Technical Sustainment Support, Sustainment Engineering Support, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Configuration Management (CM), and System Installation and Turnover for ONE-Net ISEA. ONE-Net is a navy-wide initiative to install a common and secure IT Infrastructure to OCONUS Navy locations. It is based on Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) architecture and designed to be interoperable with IT-21, NMCI, and global information grid.
In this role, you will have:
Understanding of ITSM and familiar with ITSM tools such as Remedy and ServiceNow
Experience with continuous process improvement and certification in ITIL/CMMI/Lean Six Sigma
Experience developing dashboards working with various systems and databases in different formats to develop trend analysis, performance metrics (e.g., SLO/SLA), and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
Experience in the execution, observation, documentation of technical incidents, analysis (qualitative, quantitative, and fault) and summation of technical and functional testing
Ability to develop algorithmic approaches and perform data analytics to identify trends for preventative actions or early detection of issues,
Experience providing automated reporting and updates to support enterprise operations, service desk functions, and engineering teams
Experience managing customer relationships and experience for large scale enterprise environments
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Bachelor's degree is required.
2 - 4 years technical experience.
An active Secret or higher clearance.
Valid U.S. passport.
CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
