Software and Services
8+ years of professional software development experience
6+ years of experience in Java & related technologies such as Spring, ReST, JUnit/TestNG, Jersey, Jetty, JMX, etc.
3+ years of experience working in Cloud architectures such as AWS, Google Cloud etc.,
Knowledge and experience in large scale production systems and backend services development in Java.
Deep knowledge of web services standards and related technologies such as HTTP, JSON, XML, SOAP, REST
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.), data modeling, and ETL tools
Experience in building and implementing resilient and scalable RESTful APIs.
Experience in object-oriented software development with a deep understanding of scalable distributed systems like Cassandra, Solr, Kafka, spark and/or Hadoop.
Strong software development skills (configuration management, issue tracking, estimation, Agile/Scrum).
Experience building and scaling systems both on-premise and the cloud. Experience architecting for a hybrid cloud environment is highly desired.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical multi-functional teams.
Prior experience in the advertising industry is a huge plus.
Knowledge on Salesforce or related CRM system would be a plus

Apple Advertising Platform group makes it possible for people around the world to easily access informative and imaginative content on their devices while helping publishers and developers promote and monetize their work. Today, our technology and services power advertising in Search Ads in App Store and Apple News. Our platforms are highly performant, deployed at scale, and setting new standards for enabling effective advertising while protecting user privacy. The Sales Enablement team designs and builds systems to enable our complex and ever-growing Sales function to handle all of the Sales requirements for Ad Platforms. In this role you will design and develop how Ad Platforms makes use of our core services and integrations for enabling the Ad Platforms sales organization. We are looking for someone with strong experience in delivering new software in a services-oriented architecture. In addition, this person must have a proven track record to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners, including technologists, product managers, engineers, and senior leadership. The position is available in New York & Austin.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, - Master's Degree in Computer Science or other Engineering field strongly desired.
