We are hiring an Associate Marketing & Communications Manager. The Associate Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for developing, planning, and completing targeted marketing and communications activities for Voices for Healthy Kids and related projects. They are responsible for acting as marketing or communications representative for the project. Assists with administrative and coordination tasks for the team.
*This is a full time, benefits eligible grant funded position. Current funding is through approx. 6/30/25. *

Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties:
Writes and edits documents and other communications as requested (blogs, talking points, FAQ's, emails, action alerts, presentations, and newsletters). Ensures that the project's vision of equity is built into all communications. Facilitates projects with Design Studio and vendors.
Crafts and updates collateral for Voices for Healthy Kids projects such as brochures, one-pagers, signage, ads, digital banners, presentations, etc.
Handles content creation and management for websites, social media posts, and all related campaigns ensuring Voices for Healthy Kids vision of equity is the driving force. Includes tracking and evaluation.
Ensures all promotions, communications and marketing campaigns meet AHA Voices for Healthy Kids or other specific project branding guidelines. Collaborates with assigned vendors to remain aligned with visual design requirements.
Assists with the administrative and project coordination as needed for meeting support, list management, reporting, tracking and project maintenance.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, Communications, or related area
Two years of experience in marketing, communications, or promotional campaign development
One year of project management experience, including managing multiple projects concurrently
Shown success in crafting marketing or promotion plans
Strong analytical skills with a shown ability to apply trend analysis, research, and other sources to turn data and information into actionable information
Proficient digital literacy including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
Excellent interpersonal, written, presentation, and oral communications skills
Experience and curiosity about understanding of social determinants of health, equity, and a proven dedication to building equitable communities.
