We are currently seeking a Specialist, Scheduling Integration for our Orlando, FL facility.

Essential Functions

40% - Under general supervision,coordinates production control activities such as production scheduling, stockroom operations, purchase requisitions, tool control/maintenance and material requirements planning.

20% - Coordinates the development and implementation of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) activities

20% - Identifies and communicates concerns and issues with potential scheduling impacts. Works with the team to develop solutions to minimize the impact. Relays information to the team members and management.

10% - Monitors procurement activities to ensure conformance to established schedule.

10% - Performs other related assignments

Requirements

This is an exempt-level position requiring a Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of experience in a directly related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have knowledge of material and production control in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong working experience with production-related databases such as: CMSTAT and DELTEK Costpoint; relational databases such as Access and DBase.

  • Prefer experience in the implementation of MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.

  • Working knowledge using Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Problem solving ability and written and verbal communication skills are essential.

  • Requires familiarity with government standards and specifications.

Will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
