Description: As a Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Business Analyst supporting SAP production planning applications for the Space business area, the employee will facilitate the development, implementation and sustainment of the manufacturing execution system and processes to include interfaces with our ERP and PLM systems. The employee will work across multiple project teams to optimize engineering and manufacturing bill of material and work instruction processes working directly with both our Space shop floor users and our IT team to translate requirements, resolve errors, and improve processes.

Basic Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in the following:

- Strong SAP Production Planning and executing experience (5+ years), including configuring the SAP system. Manufacturing Engineering and shop floor execution process knowledge

- 5+ years configuration experience in SAP ERP PP module with ability to configure and customized MRP, Capacity and Production Planning.

- Minimum 3+ years experience supporting full cycle implementation, which includes Gap Analysis, Requirements gathering, Blue printing, Development, Testing, Reporting, Go-live and Post Go-live support.

- Demonstrated experience in writing functional specification, creating test plan and test scripts and perform system integration testing.

- Integral knowledge in manufacturing work instruction, production order buy off, and shop floor management.

- Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills

- Prior experience in manufacturing engineering processes including ability to create and manage engineering and manufacturing bill of materials and manufacturing work instructions

- Experience with manufacturing engineering change processes

- Demonstrated analytic skills in analyzing large production, capacity, MRP related data.

- Ability to adapt business processes into automated tools and techniques

- Understanding of software agile development lifecycle, and the implementation of user requirements into the environment via definition, testing, implementation and training

- Effective communication and facilitation skills - ability to converse technically and functionally

- Excellent documentation skills writing Functional Specification and performing Unit tests/Integration tests.

Desired Skills

Ability to perform manufacturing engineering processes in VE-CAMS and SAP ERP (Change Management, Bill of material management, and Manufacturing Work Instructions)

- Ability to create and manage visual work instructions using Visual Enterprise Author

- SAP implementation experience within the production business processes

- Experience with SAP S4

- Experience in Apriso

- Experience in quality engineering

- Experience in model based engineering

- Experience in the deployment of manufacturing execution systems to include automation techniques, security, and project management

- Experience in IT agile development practices

Desired Skills:

- Has a specific understanding of security roles within VE-CAMS

- Supports VE-CAMS login issues

- Supports account creation/reactivation

- Has a high-level understanding of interface between SAP and VE-CAMS in order to validate working processes.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $85,900 - $161,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $74,700 - $143,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
