As a Procurement Specialist you will be on a team that is responsible for the procurement of parts for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) new Multi Mission Surface Combatants (MMSC) and their shore support facilities.
This position is contigent upon your ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret DoD level clearance pre-employment.
You will potentially work with vendors from around the world, so bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards the readiness of an international client's maritime defense.
Serco supports the RSNF as a subcontractor on a commercial contract providing naval vessel life-cycle sustainment, including planning yard functions, maintenance, procurement services, and training.

In this role, you will:
Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.
Track invoices from receipt through payment and maintain detailed records for audits.
Track and monitor materiel and services from purchase through delivery and client acceptance.
Build and maintain partnerships with vendors, and internal and external organizations.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor's Degree plus 5 to 7 years of procurement experience.
You must have the ability to obtain an interim Secret DoD level clearance pre-employment.
United States (U.S.) citizenship.
Ability to operate personal computers and have good knowledge and operational abilities with Microsoft Office tools.
Additional desired experience and skills:
Background in USN supply systems and nomenclature.
Familiarity with procurement, shipping, and invoicing.
