Description
Process Manager responsible for the on-going creation and deployment of new business processes to advance Applied Materials new product development capability
Collaborate with the Business Units and functional organizations to drive and implement new product development process enhancements
Seen as new a Product Development Process (PDP) Subject Matter Expert (SME) working closely with the Semiconductor Product Group (SPG) and Display Flexible Technologies (DFT) business units
Good understanding of all interrelated Business Processes (not just PDP)
Provide process expertise and guidance to product development teams
Recognizes internal and/or external business challenges with regards to product development and recommends process, tools, or service improvements
Identify Product Development decision gaps and provide new analytic capabilities to help BUs make better business decisions
Communicate process, project, and product health metrics to ensure adherence and rigorous execution of the product development process tasks
A plus to have a mix of skills crossing between Program Management, Systems Engineering, Marketing and/or Operations
Understanding Semiconductor Product Group (SPG), Display Flexible Technologies (DFT) and Business Units (BU) needs
Proven success with meeting project commitments
Ability to solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business

Learn, maintain, and evolve the PDP architecture and underlining SW applications
Identify gaps between existing SW tools and process capabilities and what the program teams needs
Enable data driven communication between program teams and executive management
Coach and guide around people, processes, and tools

Be a trusted liaison between the PDP Team and GIS
Be a trusted liaison between the PDP Team and the software supplier; define and manage joint enhancement projects
Develop data analytics in PDP/Accolade to enhance decision-making, project & process management
Qualifications/Education
Bachelor's Degree
5+ Years of Experience
Engineering/Technical Background
Knowledge of Process Management
A plus to have a working knowledge of Accolade, Tableau, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, SAP, and Hadoop
