Job Description

Duties : Research new technologies and develop new projects to foster off-roadmap innovation. Architect and develop new features using a wide range of languages and tools including, but not limited to, Python, NodeJS, Golang, C#, GraphQL, SQL. Build prototypes and new features for existing xLabs projects, from REST API development to front-end user interfaces. Build continuous integration & continuous deployment pipelines with test integrations. Perform code reviews for projects, create continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, deploy containers using Docker & Kubernetes. Mentor interns, lay a roadmap for their future development, and help them deliver projects.

Requirements : Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or a related technical/quantitative field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related position. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or a related technical/quantitative field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related position.

Employer requires at least six of the following skills gained through industry experience:

  • Programming experience in at least one of the following: NodeJS, Python, or GoLang;

  • Web development experience using JavaScript, HTML, or CSS;

  • SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB);

  • Building and deploying microservices and transforming monoliths to microservices-based architecture using Docker;

  • Working with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS;

  • Setting up build & test infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI or Jenkins;

  • Building authentication modules using OAuth2/OIDC and incorporating TLS certificates using OpenSSL;

  • Using Git for source code management, including merge requests, branches, resolving merge conflicts, and maintaining forks.
