Description: The Mk21A team is seeking an experienced leader to provide key technical direction and management to their development teams.
The chosen candidate will lead design, development and test of software products utilized in the development of two deliverable National Instrument based test stations. Will perform software engineering lifecycle, following the Software Development Plan (SDP), to include the requirements, analysis, unit test, integration and support to formal test and delivery. Will participate in technical review and audits of software products.
Candidate must have the ability to take ownership of software development activities and facilitate the application of agile methods. Will work in a highly collaborative environment with frequent and direct interaction with peers and occasional customer interactions. Excellent ability to perform on a small highly skilled team in a dynamic environment. The preferred candidate must be able to multi-task, adapt to change, and possess deep organizational and communication skills.
This role will be a mix of guidance and hands on delivery of program artifacts.
Basic Qualifications:
- Significant experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Labview, Teststand or Labwindows/CVI.
- Deep Leadership Skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Final Secret Clearance needed to start with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of National Instruments products such as PXIe.
- Knowledge National Instruments programming platforms such as Lab Windows/CVI, Labview, and TestStand.
- Knowledge of RMS LMCore or LMStar product line
- Basic electronics Skills: Ability to Read/follow schematics, use a hand DMM, oscilloscope, logic analyze etc.
- Experience with Hardware/Software integration.
- Proficiency with SW CM tools such as gitlab.
- Experience with Agile Software Development (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) and Agile Process Tools (e.g. JIRA)
- Familiar with Requirements Development and DOORS
- Familiar with Software Lifecycle
- Familiar with modeling tool such as Cameo or Rhapsody and software process a plus
- Experience with program lifecycle execution from concept phase through end-of-life phase.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-
disciplinary environment

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
