Job Description
Plans, develops, coordinates and facilitates instructional courses and related training material required by NAVSEA in support of radiological controls, radiation worker and nuclear skills training programs. Analyzes training needs identified by contract
Will provide development and instruction to support RCT qualification and requalification programs. Will facilitate the retention of radiological expertise for RCTs. Will coach and mentor RCTs through role as an embedded instructor on the waterfront. Will foster learning for the organization through administion of the radiological casualty training programs.
Basic Qualifications
RCT certification required and minimum of 4 years of experience as a certified RCT.
Must hold or have formerly held an RCT qualification; must have senior level experience in the Radiological Program; must be committed to upholding the principles of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program and in the development of others. Must not have work restrictions which will prevent regular deckplate observations on all platforms and facilities and participation in organizational drills.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent communication and writing skills; Experience with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint; experience with developing others
