Construction Manager
KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. KBR is looking for a Construction Manager to assist the Project Leaders and Project Managers in carrying out all project activities. You will assume responsibility for coordinating certain portions of the administration of the project such as cost control, document control, contract changes, shop drawings, etc., and may be responsible for certain subcontractors or parts of a large project. You can perform some basic project management functions under minimal supervision and may be capable of.
This position is located at a client site in Richmond, VA. No relocation or per diem will be offered.
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
-Manage a project of $3 million and above
-Responsibilities include project setup and subcontracting strategy, shop drawing review and processing, contract changes, engineer daily relations, subcontractor relations, and all required Owner and in-house reporting.
-Responsible for leading project team meetings, with contract and client personnel
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
-Must be US Citizen and eligible to work in the United States
-Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of a degree
-8+ years experience in industrial construction
-Good written and verbal communication skills
-Must have the ability to work in a team environment
-Clear Criminal Background Check required
