HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to support our customer in Hawaii.

This group helps provide technical expertise in support of 24/7/365 watch-standing duties. Your team members may troubleshoot system outages; coordinate with various agencies to maximize circuit readiness and minimize downtime. This role contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. You will be a part of conducting preventive maintenance repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing of facility systems at our site (including detailed troubleshooting of systems). Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on-site, customer interface. With a high level of complete technical competence, mentors control technicians, service technicians, and mechanical technicians on building automation activities and Emergency Diesel Generators. Properly completes required project and service documentation.

This position does not offer remote location work schedules. You will be required to report to the office daily to complete your assigned responsibilities.

What You Will Do

  • This multi-skilled position will be responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment on all systems (e.g., Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, Emergency Diesel Generators, and Central Utility Plant Operations).

  • Operate facility's mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) infrastructure, centralized utility plant, computer room air handlers, interrupted power supplies, building HVAC, Emergency Diesel generators, fire prevention and Building Management Systems in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

  • Operate, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot all Mechanical and Electrical Systems supporting Building and 24x7 Critical Data Center.

  • Be part of an on-call rotation for weekends and nights and quickly respond to critical system emergencies.

  • Assist with strategic maintenance planning, Capital projects, coordinate with project personnel i.e. contractors and Government customers.

  • Other duties as needed and required.

What You Must Have

  • 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.

  • Must have troubleshoot, maintenance and repair experience on Diesel Engines.

  • Must have experience with property grounds keeping and maintenance.

  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret/SCI Eligible Clearance.

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain base access credentials.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Bonus Points For...

  • Heating, ventilation and air-conditioning(HVAC) and Building Automation System(BAS).

  • Experience/working knowledge of add-on, replacement and retrofit for installation of small and large equipment (i.e. motors, chillers, pumps, and controls).

  • Knowledge on developing and coordination preventative maintenance programs to ensure reliability and safety or equipment.

  • Must have experience/knowledge with mechanical and electrical infrastructure and design.

Physical Requirements

Office, industrial or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.
