Job Summary

This is not part of a progression within a job series. The levels in the Process Assistant job series for each specific job are based solely on the responsibilities and utilization of the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the role.

There is one position which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.

This role performs a variety of routine clerical tasks that support the Iredell Operations Service Department in Troutman, North Carolina.

Work requires knowledge in the area of assignment as well as applicable department and company policies and procedures to accomplish the processing of information, documents or materials to include:

- setting up comprehensive records and files

- preparing standard reports and charts

- compiling data from various sources and forms

- contacting other departments to obtain information and reconcile routine discrepancies

- performing calculations involving complicated arithmetic, etc.

- maintains record of documents processed

- informs departments of missing or incorrect data and makes minor corrections

- utilizes computer systems and/or other related equipment to record, store and retrieve information

- compiles regular and special reports using established formats and procedures

- performs basic clerical duties that are highly structured according to established procedures

The company is actively seeking United States military veterans and service members who meet the qualifications outlined below.

- Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Process Assistant II

Basic understanding of the operation of computerized and function-related equipment to record, store and retrieve information.

- 2-3 years general office experience.

- Ability to manage multiple activities and resources.

- Strong oral and written communication skills.

- Proficient personal computer skills.

- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.

- Works under immediate supervision.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

- Proficient skills using spreadsheet and word processing applications and SAP.

- Basic knowledge of company and department procedures.

- Bilingual (Spanish) candidates.

Process Assistant III

- 3 - 4 years general office experience.

- Comprehensive knowledge of company and department procedures associated with business process or function.

- Strong skills using spreadsheet, word processing and SAP.

- Ability to prioritize work and exercise considerable discretion in the performance of duties.

- Ability to manage multiple activities and resources.

- Strong oral and written communication skills.

- Strong personal computer skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.

- Works under general supervision.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

- Bilingual (Spanish) candidates.

Education Requirements

Completion of high school or equivalent (i.e., GED) is required.

Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description

A valid driver's license is preferred.

Other Working Conditions

Work is performed primarily in an office environment.
