As an integral part of the EPM financial systems team, this role will be responsible for the monthly administration and routine maintenance, continual automation & enhancement, and system initiatives for Oracle FCCS and ARCS. This position will closely partner with various accounting and finance teams such as Corporate Accounting, Tax, and Financial Reporting, to enable preparation of accurate financial information & reconciliations supporting internal analysis and external reporting.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the role of an Administrator for FCCS & ARCS, with an understanding of the interaction of FCCS, FDMEE or Data Management and Financial Reporting applications, and ARCS.
Duties and Responsibilities
FCCS/ARCS Administration (60%) -
Perform all administrator duties on FCCS & ARCS, and serve as subject matter expert and partner to the business on all FCCS and ARCS functionalities such as task manager.
Develop/maintain FCCS artifacts such as web forms, rules, member lists, data grids, and task lists/flows.
Prepare FCCS and ARCS for the monthly close process including substitution variables, exchange rates, master data preparation, process management and update of system task flows
Manage and make monthly profile/reconciliation changes in ARCS
Develop and perform reconciliation process in FCCS and ARCS to ensure that all data comes over correctly from ERP to FCCS and from ERP to ARCS with no missing data or ARCS profiles
Perform data validations after all data loads to ensure all base data and all parent data is consistent with the general ledger or the trial balances from entities that are not on our general ledger
Provide end user support, especially during critical times such as month end close.
Identify and maintain FCCS and ARCS reporting.
Identify, resolve, and monitor issues related to FCCS and ARCS applications functionality.
Ensure regular backups are maintained and available in the event system recovery is needed. Support system restores when necessary.
Manage and make monthly metadata updates in FCCS via EDMCS
Execute user and security changes in FCCS and ARCS in coordination with requests received from Identity Now and appropriately approved.
Performs testing of monthly Oracle updates in Test instances
Assist in preparation of data for external and internal auditors as requested.
Research and coordinate resolution of system-related issues with IT and Oracle support.
Ensure compliance with all applicable change management processes and procedures including internal controls.
FCCS/ARCS Enhancements (30%) -
Continually assess how FCCS and ARCS can be enhanced to support the business environment, e.g. acquisitions, dispositions, restatements, fully leverage existing or new application technology.
Perform support and development, testing, optimization and implementation of changes to the FCCS and ARCS applications in support of reporting initiatives and change requests.
Participate in initiating and testing of new releases and enhancements.
Provide end-user training to end-users on an ad-hoc basis.
Seek opportunities to actively automate FCCS and ARCS reporting.
Automate FCCS & ARCS jobs by creating and managing EPM Automate scripts
Work with end users to continuously improve Inspire financial systems and offer efficient problem-solving solutions.
System Initiatives (10%) -
Support design, documentation, testing and maintenance of all company initiatives and projects, for FCCS / ARCS metadata, templates, web forms, business rules, calc scripts, reports, and security.
Support FCCS/ARCS initiatives by performing data validation, report validation, reload validation & testing.
Develop processes and documents such as metadata change process, ARCS change process.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields, such as Finance, Accounting, or Accounting Info Systems
5+ years' experience working with FCCS/ARCS/HFM and Financial Reporting / SmartView including 3-5 years as the responsible administrator. Hands on experience with FCCS, or HFM, or Essbase/planning applications is a must.
Solid working knowledge of financial consolidation concepts (i.e. CTA, intercompany eliminations), as well as balance sheet reconciliations.
Experience in HFM or FCCS design, development, implementation, routine administration and maintenance; experience with performance tuning and optimization.
Maintain a continuous improvement and problem solver mindset.
ARCS admin experience is preferred.
Able to work as a team and independently in a very fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks and initiatives.
Must be a team player with the ability to work independently and be accountable for results which may include the need for overtime work during peak activity periods.
