People Experience - THAT is what we call "HR" at T-ROC. It is ALL about the PEOPLE. We are hiring a Human Resources Business Partner who is the first point of contact on all employee related concerns, complaints, and grievances and provide a litigation-free workplace. This position is responsible for HR Compliance, employee engagement, performance management and all other general human resources functions. Here are the details:
Responsible for keeping up to date with all federal and state laws to ensure compliance is adhered to.
Makes recommendations to the Chief People Officer to change policies, practices, and procedures where current and pending legal regulations may impact organization.
Assists with compliance investigations within company policy; documents findings and recommends disciplinary action and/or appropriate resolution.
Conducts basic internal audits of employee relations issues such as employee turnover, hiring, transfer and promotion practices, exit interviews, etc. to identify trends or situations that need training, counseling, or reprimand. Compiles findings and reporting monthly.
Facilitates approved training programs to enhance manager/employee coaching, communication and feedback programs that enhance employee satisfaction
Updates and maintains changes to the Employee Handbook and company policies. Creates consistent practices across all TROC entities while also capturing all client specific policies and working with the People Attraction & Experience team to ensure timely communication, implementation and updates to systems as needed.
Works on performance management program development including goal setting, performance evaluations, appraisals, and rewards and recognition.
Assists with other People Experience responsibilities as assigned.
Here's what you need to ROC this role:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
2 + years' experience in Human Resources with CP/PHR or SCP/SPHR Certification preferred.
Experience of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations with full understanding of human resources practices and procedures, experience working with Puerto Rico a plus.
Previous payroll and strong benefits experience preferably with ADP products.
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, written communication and customer service skills are required.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines are required.
Team player and collaborative approach to meeting mutual goals are required.
Must work in our Coral Gables FL headquarters office
Occasional travel may be required, may be up to 20%.
