Description
This is a position in support of the Department of State (DoS) Vanguard 2.2.1 Program. The Asset Management Manager responsibilities include working closely with our Radio Programs Branch (RPB) Program Management team to prepare comprehensive inventory, safety, and logistics coordination for all RPB projects. Management approved remote work opportunities available.
The position may allow temporary hybrid remote work about once per week due to Covid-19. Position may be called back onsite full time at the customer's request.
Description of Duties
Responsible for all Asset Management support activities for the radio programs branch.
Responsible for monitoring and tracking government business unit assets.
Responsible for RPB repair and return ticket processing and tracking with RPB internal controls.
Tracks disposition, vendor repair, return to stock, and excess instructions and processing.
Status tracking and inventories all government furnished equipment and calibration service dates.
Safety Program Officer: Responsible for tracking employees obtaining forklift license, tower safety support, monitor eye wash stations, first aid kits throughout the building, caution signs placed in strategic areas, safety goggles in the shop areas.
Status tacking of all RPB shipments.
Coordinate regularly with property desk officers.
Backup logistics support activities.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
High school diploma with minimum 5-7 years' experience in a professional environment.
2-3 years of IT asset management experience.
Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
Ability to work independently and with minimum direction to meet deadlines and deliverables.
Able to work in a dynamic environment with many different personalities.
Required Clearance
US Citizenship.
Active Interim Secret Clearance or higher.
Desired Experience & Skills
Familiarization or working knowledge of installation of telecom equipment is highly preferred.
Knowledge of the Department of State highly preferred.
Working knowledge of IRM's methodologies regarding the support of all DoS's Radio infrastructures.
Working knowledge of Asset Management systems and methodologies.
