Job Summary
Research, compile, and manipulate energy industry competitive intelligence information using industry-related publications, databases, and other sources. Analyze energy markets and evaluate the economics of specific projects. Develop recommendations for new or improvements to existing research tools. Assist with development and maintenance of proprietary, in-house and other forecasts, structural databases and models of regional energy markets, including quantifying ranges on potential outcomes. Assist with development of dynamic business plans for each region which define the optimal assets/positions to acquire and/or develop. Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis and quality control on large amounts of data.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
3+ years of directly related experience
Knowledge of business information research, analytical methods, and statistics.
Skills: analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, personal computer applications, especially database, spreadsheet, and internet.
Abilities: manage and maintain large quantities of data, investigative thinking, handle multiple tasks.
Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.
Education Requirements
Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
Preferred Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
