Our customer is tasked with developing, testing, procuring, fielding, and maintaining the FLRAA Weapon System with First Unit Equipped (FUE) scheduled for 2030. Serco will provide Engineering, Logistics, and Acquisition and Strategic Planning Services to support the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) Project Management (PM) Office.
You will be joining a team of 25-40 full-time, highly experienced, and qualified acquisition, logistics and engineering professionals led and managed by Mr. Dave Schairbaum, who previously led the Air Force Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) development program as Program Director.
The position is highly collaborative and calls for proactive leadership and the ability to influence/nurture program team members to develop EVM maturity and improve processes. You will interface with contractor and government program managers, business managers, and project control managers.
In this position, you will
Be responsible to perform data validity checks on monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) in-house and contractor reporting to assess reliability of EVM data to support overall project analysis and surveillance and identify issues and monitor for satisfactory resolution
Assess and validate EVM data integrity monthly using best practices and tools
Support EVM as a program management resource
Understand EVM training gaps and providing solutions
Attending program meetings and evaluating EVM data
Encouraging standard processes and resources across programs
Lead efforts for effective baseline reviews, program audits, internal surveillance to assist in the successful deployment of EVM resources.
Review and audit EVM deliverables on programs
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An active Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Communications, Business Administration or related field
Eight (8) years of experience supporting federal programs (preferably for the DOD)
May substitute three (3) years of additional task related experience in lieu of degree
Ability to perform detailed and complex calculations with related knowledge of the practices and principles of Earned Value Management
Documented experience managing EVM on a DOD program
Additional desired experience and skills:
Ability and willingness to travel up to an average of 25%
Ability and willingness to support full-time on-govt site support
Ability and willingness to support full-time, regular-recurring, and/or situational Telecommuting
